WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY?

A slight difference exists between them. In summary, counselling is a short-term, and more direct approach to dealing with situations in your life. While psychotherapy is a more engaged, and in-depth process to healing.

WHAT DO I EXPECT THROUGHOUT THE THERAPY PROCESS?

Our first session helps us determine if we are a good fit. With you giving me a summary of your story, we go over some documents and policies, what brings you to therapy and how often we will meet.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?

Individual sessions: 50 minutes
Couple sessions: 75 minutes
Family sessions: 75 minutes

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

Initial phone consultation (15 minutes): Free

Individual: $165 plus tax
Couple: $180 plus tax
Family: $200 plus tax
Clinical Associate: $140 plus tax
Intern: $80 plus tax

Group Therapy: Ask Us

Insurance info
A receipt will be provided to you after payment is received which you can then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider as I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Please Note:
Additional fees may apply for documentation requests (e.g., letters for employers, school, court, etc.)
We offer some sliding scale (lower rate) sessions based on need. Please discuss this with me in your initial consultation.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, e-transfers, and cash

WHAT IS YOUR RESCHEDULING OR CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled appointment, please do so within 24 hours. You will be charged the full session fee if prior notice is not given.
